Those of you that subscribe to our iCalendar will want to know that it has moved and improved. Click here to subscribe to the new iCalendar. Unlike our old calendar, which was only updated a couple of times a week, this new calendar is always up to date.

For those that don’t know, iCalendar is an excellent open calendar format that’s supported by many applications including iCal, Outlook, Sunbird, and Mozilla Calendar. Thanks go to DreamHost for being one of the few web hosts to support WebDav, a technology that lets you publish and subscribe to calendars over the web.

Tense Forms moves to DreamHost

Monday, August 15th, 2005 at 05:26 PM

Pardon the mess! We’ve switched servers to DreamHost this weekend. Most things should be back to normal now but you may find a quirk here and there. Don’t hesitate to let us know!

We were quite happy with our old host, 8-95.com, and I would still recommend them to anyone, especially if you have a smaller site. We have a ton of songs on our servers though, and we go through quite a bit of bandwidth at times. With DreamHost’s current specials, they’re a much better fit for our needs.

DreamHost also has some great referral programs. If you sign up there and enter the promo code 25TO50OFF, you’ll get $25 off if you pay monthly, or $50 if you pay a year in advance. Even better, a bit of your payment will be donated to Tense Forms. You save money, we save money, everybody wins!

100 Lakes Reprint Available

Monday, May 02nd, 2005 at 11:44 PM

A reprint of 100 Lakes, a book by Craig Blakeman, is now available in our store. This book compiles 100 photographs of Lake Michigan taken from early January to early June 2004. One photo was taken from the same spot, looking the same direction, at the same time each day. The cover of this printing is handprinted in violet ink and handbound in charcoal paper using glue and twine.

Tense Forms Store Updates

Sunday, April 03rd, 2005 at 08:27 PM

We now have Tense Forms t-shirts available at the store. They’re charcoal American Apparel shirts, with the Tense Forms logo subtly hand-printed in rust-colored ink.

In addition, all of our music releases are now available in MP3-only format at half the price. Of course if you like, you can still buy the physical release and download it in MP3 format as a free bonus.

You’ll also find some subtle changes throughout the store and the main site. You can now search the store, and we’ve made downloading the songs you’ve purchased much easier. Finally, there’s a new font-size switcher in the upper-right corner, if you’d like to view the site with larger text.
