We have a new project called the snow filled our tracks as quick as we made them. At any given time you’ll find one bit of ephemera there—a poem, painting, song, or whatever else we unearth. The next day it’s hidden away, covered, replaced with something new. If you like you can simply visit the site daily, but the best way to experience it is with its RSS feed. Just subscribe to the site and you’ll find a small gift in your news reader every weekday.

Tense Radio 1.5 Released

Monday, February 28th, 2005 at 07:37 AM

The new Muted Tones is brought to you via a brand new version of our Tense Radio music player. We’ve added a volume control in case you don’t want to fiddle with your system’s volume. Your settings are now saved transparently; no more extra little popup windows! And most importantly, we’ve reworked the streaming so that the songs play sooner and are less likely to be interrupted.

You will also be asked to choose the audio quality the first time you use the new player. We highly recommend the HI-FI option! On a broadband connection, songs will load in just a second or two, and they’re near CD quality.

Please take a moment to tell us what you think!

We’re also considering improving the quality of the LO-FI streams, but we’re going to keep a close eye on things first. If you’d like to offer any input on Tense Radio, please contact us, we’d love to hear from you. Do you like Tense Radio? Have you had any problems using it? Do the songs load quickly?
