This book compiles 100 photographs of Lake Michigan taken by Craig Blakeman on the days he went to work from early January to early June 2004. One photo was taken each day from the same spot, looking the same direction, at some time between ten and eleven in the morning.
100 Lakes is currently in its second printing. The original was handbound in green paper using glue and twine. The second printing is handbound in charcoal paper using glue and twine, with a handprinted cover in violet ink. Both are 2" x 4.25" of quietness, patience and surprising variety.
