sometimes the simplest explanation is the easiest to believe….in musical collaborations with others the effort of communication often takes priority over the exchange of ideas. in this piece i wanted to find a place where isolation leads to true communion with the musical source within us all….. is this hippy enough? seriously though, i feel there’s really something sacred in looking inward for inspiration rather than outward.
